Because of this…
We added these to both the hall bathroom and the master bathroom...
Sunday, church was cancelled again due to the church flooding. ~We didn’t have church last week either because of busted pipes. Apparently it is pretty bad. ~Anyway, we decided to go ahead and paint the walls while we were at it as well (we bought the paint Saturday night, just so you know). The walls were a mint green. Don’t ask why or how… just know they were that color. :} We decided to paint them the tan color of the other bathroom. It turned out really nice, but I am tired now!
To help make things more interesting, Jake had youth conference this weekend. Mike got the pleasure of transporting him and his friends to and from the different locations. I’m not sure why we are the only parents that know how to drive, but most times, that is the way it is. Jake wore his new suit for the testimony meeting Sunday night. I’m so glad he likes it. I found it at the Resale shop for $1.97 each piece (the jacket and pants). It fits him really nicely if I do say so myself. :}
Tom also came and brought a load of wood for us to use during this unusually cool winter. He also brought the gift he had gotten for Elaina. A huge dollhouse. I’m not sure where it’s going, but the girls both LOVE it!

Wow!!! That's crazy! I could NOT undertake such a project! I am totally impressed.
Also, Jake looks snazzy in his new suit. Ladies go crazy for a sharp-dressed man!
So he had stake conference but you didn't? How did that work exactly? ;)
Finally, that playhouse is HUGE!!! That was nice of Tom to do that. It looks like Elaina loves it!!
I love you, C! Thanks for letting me know you updated your blog!
Sorry, it was youth conference, not stake conference. I fixed it. :)
Actually, it wasn't too bad. Mike is really good at remodeling and working on the house. :)
I too am so impressed with all your handy work. GREAT JOB, sista!!! I know that your thrilled with the outcome of both batherooms. I think the finished product speaks for itself. STUNNING!!! So, what's on the agenda to get done next? Want to come over here and help me with some projects?
Jacob does look pretty handsome in this suit. I can't believe what bargains you can find in your area. I wish that we had some resale shops worth stopping in over here. I love you, Dana <3 <3
Charlotte,
I haven't looked at blogs in a while...I am so sorry I missed your whole experience. Wow!!!!!
I am so impressed. It turned out soooooo wonderful. I absolutely love the countertop. How are you and the kids enjoying the new look?
It inspires you to make other changes throughout the house. I bet you are looking at light fixtures, countertops and other various things in your kitchen.
Once we completed the bathrooms I have been paying extra attention to all of the little details. I am attempting to get Tony pysched into putting up crown moulding in the bathrooms. Those rooms have straight walls...so I THINK it would be easier than say the vaulted ceilings in the living room and dining room. But then again, what do I know?
I sure do love and miss you. I am excited for you.
Chris
PS. I think Jake looks so handsome in his new suit. He seems proud in the picture. Did he enjoy Youth Conference? I hope so. I just love that boy!
