It's Friday in the big city!

You know it really doesn't matter if you live in a big city or not. If you have no life... there's still not much to look forward to. I've decided that. Go ahead. Write it down. Our small city on the outskirts of a big city has just had a major event occur. We (the kids and I) have been talking about it for weeks. The day has finally arrived that we are going to have a family outing. Try and contain yourselves. I know you are going to be extremely jealous but, we are going to go and visit the new QT store tonight as a family. You haven't heard of QT? You should be ashamed. It is only the best gas station in the south (as far as this really weird family is concerned). They have enough gas lines to make any walmart customer cry with joy. They have cheap food (which is pretty tasty, too). They also have the holy grail of beverage centers. There is a wide aray of coffee... iced or not. We don't partake of it, but it's still impressive. There are at least 25 different soft drink dispensers. Most QT's even have caffene free diet coke. ~ Can you hear my heart about to rip out my chest?~ They have the "good" ice (the kind like sonic has) and also the "ok" ice (the half moon orbes). Then... there is the reason we go to QT. They have a huge selection of ICEE's. They even have recipe cards where it shows you what flavors together make whole new ICEE flavors. There has to be at least 10 different flavors. Now I will admit that I am a plain "coke" ICEE girl myself, but sometimes I get a bit daring and put just a dab of blueberry blue in there. Wow! What a treat. The kids love mixing the flavors depending on their moods. Mike thinks we are a bit crazy. That's alright. I know I am a bit of an odd duck. I'll pretend to work on it another day. Tonight, I'm going with the family to QT!
