Today hasn't been extra special or anything. I went up to the girls school and read to Elaina's class. I stayed and had lunch with her. She really enjoyed it. One of the girls in her class was almost as tall as me. I know I am vertically challenged, but a first grader reaching my nose really made me feel bad about my height.
I was home for a few minutes when I recieved a call saying Emma was sick and needed to be picked up. I truely wish I was able to tell when the girls are sick and not. She came home and took a nap until time to go back to school (for the 3rd time) and pick up Elaina. Emma has been fine ever since.
We picked up Jake on the way home since he got out of school early today (Wednesday and Thursday are early release for High School). He seemed to appreciate the ride home.
Poor Josh had to walk home. Not that he minds walking home. He does it on purpose. I just didn't go pick him up from school. He started walking home last year. It scares me for him to do it, but I figure he is getting older and I need to let him grow up a bit. I really wish he would have taken the phone we tried to give him for his birthday! He is finally seeing that having a phone isn't such a bad thing. I think I will check into getting him a phone again. That would help me feel better.
