Tomorrow is Friday!!!

Today I got a bit bored and decided to go window shopping. I went to the local thrift shop and found some little shelves. I paid $3 for both. They aren't much, but I am going to paint them and put them up for the girls. Emma has a bad habit of leaving library books on the floor by her bed. They get stepped on by mistake while I give her kisses good night. Now she will have somewhere to put her library books so they stay together and off the floor.

Speaking of the library, yep... we went again today. Emma got 4 new books. Elaina is going to work on a Little Critter's book this week. We have to read 15 minutes a night and I have been letting her pick out a book that we can work on. She is doing better with her reading, but we still have a long way to go.

Josh has been working all night on an assignment for health. I haven't figured out it if is the teacher or Josh, but he has had 4 assignments since school started last week. That's not the problem. The problem is that Josh is too smart for his own good. He over thinks his assignments. The assignments are silly things like questions about yourself or things you like and dislike. Josh wants everything to be "just so". We had this same teacher for health last year and had the same problem. I hope my nerves can handle this till the class is over in December. It's just a half year course because he wants to take art. He enjoys art. Instead of having art all year, they only offer it half a year. UGH!

Thank heavens Jake is not having any problems with school or life...yet. He did sit down with me and teach me the fine art of using the blue tooth on my phone to swap ring tones with him on his phone. That was fun. :) He is really a good guy. Actually, all my kis are good. I have been really blessed in that department. :)

You do have great kids, Charlotte! It amazes me how you are able to stretch yourself out to each and everyone. That is no small task. And they all love and adore you. Again...no small task.
Having a teenager want to spend time with you is a treat. Zach hasn't wanted to spend any free time with me (willingly) in a while. I miss those days.

Hope you enjoy your day!
